Our Home
Our home is about one hour outside of Los Angeles, California in the quiet and peaceful city of Lancaster. It is nestled
in a neighborhood teaming with children and there are several areas of wide-open spaces nearby for running and
playing. There are a variety of parks for outside activities like Easter egg hunts, swimming, roller-skating, climbing on
play sets and participating in sports. We can picture ourselves taking our child on nature walks amongst the blooming
spring poppies, on our daily walks with our dogs and bike rides in the park where we can feed the ducks and geese.
We are also a short drive away from the space shuttle landing site. Day trip activities like meeting Mickey Mouse at
Disneyland, making faces at the monkeys in the zoo, and burying dad in the sand on the beach are definitely some
of the many activities we look forward to doing with our child. In addition there will be numerous day-to-day activities
like making cookies with mom, playing board games, creating music with dad, family picnics and scouting are just a
few.
